Raluca Dimitriu is Labour Law Professor at the Bucharest University of Economic Studies, Law Department. She is performing teaching and researching activities in higher and postgraduate education, and she is currently PhD supervisor in the field of labour law and industrial relations.

She publishes constantly studies in international juridical revues, being also the author of several monographs published in the labour law field. Prof. Dimitriu is also principal researcher within the Legal Research Institute of Romanian Academy and team leader or national expert in various international research projects and European networks, such as European Labour Law Network.
As a trainer for Magistrates specialized in Labour Law – National Institute for Magistracy, Bucharest, Prof. Dimitriu is also in a permanent contact with the practical field of industrial relations.

Benoit van Asbroeck


Benoit is a data protection specialist and a partner in Bird & Bird, Brussels office. He leads the Data Protection, Tech & Comms and Media practices of Bird & Bird Belgium. Benoit advises clients on a variety of legal matters around privacy, data, e-commerce, digital marketing, cloud computing, the internet of things, AI, 3D printing, cookies, electronic signatures, intermediary liability and automated objects.

Marta Otto is an Assistant Professor at the Faculty of Law and Administration, University of Lodz, Poland. She holds a PhD degree from the Department of Law of the European University Institute (Florence, Italy) and is a former scholar of, among others, the International Society for Labour Law and Social Security Law and CRiMT (Centre de recherche interuniversitaire sur la mondialisation et le travail, Montreal, Canada). Member of the Advisory Committee of Labour Law Research Network LLRN. Cofounder of Polish Labour Law and Social Security Research Network COOPERANTE. Josh Holmes


Josh Holmes QC is barrister with Monckton Chambers in London.

He is twice winner of the Competition/EU Junior of the Year award (in 2011/12 and 2013/14) and is recognised in Chambers UK and Legal 500 as a leader in European / Competition law and Telecommunications law. Charlotte Breuvart is a Partner with Jones Day, Brussels Office.

With more than 15 years of experience, Charlotte Breuvart focuses her practice on European, French, and Belgian antitrust and competition law. She has extensive experience in cartels, abuses of dominance, merger control, and state aids (both in counseling and litigation). In 2012, Charlotte contributed to obtaining the largest ever fine reduction granted by the European courts in an antitrust case. Efthymios Bourtzalas


Efthymios Bourtzalas is a partner in Bird & Bird Competition and EU Group, based in Brussels.

He specialises in all aspects of Competition and EU law including, in particular, State aid, merger control, issues arising out of restrictive practices and trading arrangements, public procurement and institutional and regulatory law. He has significant experience of representing clients in cases before the European Commission, the European Courts and national courts and regulators. Raluca Dimitriu


Raluca Dimitriu is Labour Law Professor at the Bucharest University of Economic Studies, Law Department. She is performing teaching and researching activities in higher and postgraduate education, and she is currently PhD supervisor in the field of labour law and industrial relations.

She publishes constantly studies in international juridical revues, being also the author of several monographs published in the labour law field. Prof. Dimitriu is also principal researcher within the Legal Research Institute of Romanian Academy and team leader or national expert in various international research projects and European networks, such as European Labour Law Network.
As a trainer for Magistrates specialized in Labour Law – National Institute for Magistracy, Bucharest, Prof. Dimitriu is also in a permanent contact with the practical field of industrial relations.

Adrian Cojocaru


Adrian Cojocaru‘s career spans over 25 years of various HR roles and reflects a diverse experience base acquired across various industries, geographies and organisational set-ups.

Adrian was the Managing Director in charge of the Human Resources function at the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD), where he was responsible for providing HR leadership across the EBRD, leading the development and implementation of the HR Strategy in partnership with the Bank’s broader corporate leadership group as well as advising the senior management of the Bank and members of the Board of Directors on all matters related to HR. Previously he was Chief Human Resources Officer and a member of the Executive Committee of OC Oerlikon, a major Swiss global industrial group, where he was accountable for the HR strategy, organisation, systems and processes of the company which had over 17,000 employees across 38 countries of operation.

Adrian has spent his entire career in HR and has held significant positions in Unilever, Mars Inc, Reader’s Digest, and LG Electronics. He began his career with Coca-Cola. At various times he has lived and worked in Romania, Austria, The Netherlands, United States, United Arab Emirates, Switzerland and United Kingdom.
